4th week AI results

Good evening, Poolies! First things first - here are the results of the votes on who (if anyone) you thought the judges will use their "save" on this season. Remember; the winner/s will get 5 points knocked off their point total! Some of you chose not to vote, or were simply ignoring me. Either way, here's what I got:

Allison - Rachel B, Jamie J, Nancy L, Becky S, and Terri V.
Anoop - Kelly O and ME.
Danny - Connie G, Chris W, Angela M, and Anne B.

That being said, good luck to all, either way! This week, the contestants sang songs deemed popular iTunes downloads, which was pretty much whatever they wanted to sing. Some chose their songs well, while others sank to new lows. Anoop gave Simon a headache, Megans performance was likened to watching paint dry, Allison was dressed up like a punked-out Pebbles Flintstone, Scott looked as if he'd accosted by a blow dryer, and Lil once again picked the wrong song with a "Celine" ballad.

Stand-outs of the night were Danny, singing "What Hurts The Most" (Simon deemed it his best performance yet), Adam, singing "Play That Funky Music" and looking like Eddie Munster, and I hate to admit it, Kris was stellar with "Ain't No Sunshine". Yeah he's good, but I didn't see it when I raniked him at #13!!!

America voted, and the bottom 3 consisted of Megan (who literally flew with arms flapping), Allison (could it have been her Halloween costume?), and a bushy-eyebrowed Anoop.

David Cook did a nice job performing his latest single, but wasn't his drummer overdoing it just a tad? And Lady Gaga just scared me. As Simon would say, "What the bloody hell was that?!" If you missed it, just wait, I'm sure she'll show up in your next nightmare.

As Megan was named the biggest loser and ready to sing for her life, Simon minced no words in saying that saving her wasn't even a remote possibility. Despite that, Megan cawwed and clucked through her dreadful song one last time, then flew of the stage to a waiting nest outside.

Impressing the heck out of me this year, with 12 points, is Karaoke Joel! You're doing SO much better than you did last year!
Possibly our most competitive Poolie, with 13 points, is John R!
